Review on ๐Ÿงต Adjustable Brother YRDQNCraft Machine Presser Set by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for precision sewing, fits my brother, new house, Janome machines and more

When you read the title of this review you are probably thinking - why the hell does she need THREE cars? Well, I probably shouldn't tell you this, but we have five cars in the house, not counting my kids'. We have six of them if you count my favorite car that has an issue with a computer circuit board that cannot be replaced. WHAT IS IT FOR? These legs come in a pack of three. It's just a plastic bag. WHAT MACHINES ARE THEY SUITABLE FOR? I have three different brands of cars at home. They fit all three: Brother, Janome and New Home. To be fair, there's also an Asian machine called JE Make IT that suits them too. One of my kids uses it at school. HOW DO YOU WORK? An important feature of these (besides the basic zigzag foot) is that they have vertical and horizontal red lines. This means these feet will be invaluable if you are interested in quilting or any other type of precision sewing that requires precise angles and stitching or topstitching. One of the hardest things is turning the corner at just the right spot. Those paws will help you find it, or at least the right angle, so it's the perfect size. HOW I USE THEM - Top stitching - when sewing top pockets or other unusual shapes on medium to light fabrics - small, tiny garments for dolls or babies - sewing decorative patterns before gathering WHAT TYPES OF FABRICS? lightweight fabrics. They work great. Be careful when dealing with very thick materials such as denim, denim or canvas. They are not designed for particularly heavy use. So if you plan to work on seams or very thick sections of fabric, be VERY careful or just avoid them with these sewing feet. sewing work This allows me to do great topstitching, neatly fold corners, or do other fancy work that requires measuring in BOTH directions - horizontally and vertically. The zigzag foot is just an addition to the foot that probably already came with your machine. MY GUESS I am very happy with these presser feet. I'm very glad I have it and would recommend it to anyone undertaking the work described in this review. I would also buy additional kits for all my machines if needed.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
