I have a very small wrist so I was afraid it would be too bulky. Can also be sensitive to noise so was concerned at mention of loud ticking. However, I liked the look, so I took a chance. It looks great on my wrist and I still have two minor holes on the strap. I wear the watch a bit loose. I think my wrist is 7 inches around. Ticks can be heard in very quiet rooms, but I find this to be normal noise levels, not uncomfortable at all. You cannot hear it when there are other noises. Even just soft noises like typing or soft voice.
