UPDATE July 2021: First cartridge lasted 1658 pages. The second tweeted low toner for over two weeks and printed 1082 pages. It works (most of the time) and is cheap, and it's nowhere near the 2,000 sites claimed to be on the list. UPDATE Nov 2020: The second cartridge is not suitable for 2-sided printing and expensive paper. I have to duplex twice to make it work. The first 2 pages come out with the same blank area bar. I tried it on waterproof paper and the toner doesn't stick. It ruined my expensive paper. So now I'm wasting toner, paper and time. No more savings. Original: I'm tired of paying $75-80 each for Canon toner for my 10 year old laser printer. I got 2100-2700 pages from the OEM and 1658 pages from the first cartridge. Two weeks ago the printer started screaming about low toner. Started showing today. This toner doesn't print on my Chinese label stock, but for 1/8 the cost I can handle it. The printer is 10 years old, has printed over 15,000 pages and is starting to wear out. A typical consumer product. I'm not sure if it needs another OEM cartridge. It would be very difficult to swallow a printer that breaks on an expensive cartridge. Overall not bad for an old printer.
