The part that is at the bottom doesn't sit flat so any movement can knock it off. I wish there was a nice crease there so it was a little stronger. I also like that there is space for a pen. So if you are tired of swiping with your fingers, you can use a pen tablet. The case holds the Kindle Fire firmly so that it does not move when in use. The cutouts are in the right place for the volume controls, camera, power button, and charging cable. The inside is made of a sort of "suede" so the screen doesn't get scratched. Is this the perfect case? In my opinion no, but $17 is enough for now. You decide.
