My son is going to college in a month. I love decorating his bedroom at home (as well as his "man cave", aka our former "study room") warm and cozy colors, so I wanted his college dorm to be the same. It has dark teal and chocolate brown carpeting, so I ordered a matching bedspread. Since he is alone in a double room, I need to decorate two single beds (the second he will use as a sofa). I wanted the second bed to half match the first, so I needed extra padding. They came before the actual duvet cover for his own bed (which is made by another manufacturer). I can only hope that the duvets I ordered for his bed will be just as BEAUTIFUL as the second bed that has those turquoise velvet covers on it. . If you need extra slips for a bed, be sure to order them. They are beautiful and much nicer than what is shown in the picture (at least the dark turquoise ones). You will not be disappointed.
