Review on 29-Inch Boraam Melrose Barstool In Driftwood Wire-Brush And Ivory - 1 Pack by Brian Cueto

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Seat is not large enough because and back cuts into seating space & feels like you're sliding off so we made adjustments.

The chair is well built, very solid, pretty, and the rotating seat is a very nice option. They even went through the trouble to cover the place where your feet rest with metal so it wouldn't deteriorate with use. But the problem IS MAJOR, the seat is too small! I weight 190 lbs, am 5'9' and I feel like I'm falling out of this chair. Several other people who tried it said the same thing. And they weren't overweight as I am. Part of the problem is that the seat has padding held down around the edges so when you sit in the seat it slopes down slightly, we fixed that by putting a block of wood under the seat. Next The back on it is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND does not give you room to sit on the stool. The back of the top piece comes in way too closely to the seat. Well we liked the chair so we took it apart. put blocks to extend the back rest part by 4" so I could lean back and still fit on the stool. I also got an extra pad for lumbar support. If you're willing to spend lots of time, a whole day to get it right, then it's a nice chair.
