We have been using them for both our 3 year old and our 8 month old for several months now. They are great for picking up spilled food and protecting baby's clothes while eating. We can also collect and hand feed any food spills at the end of a meal, so food spills are never wasted. You can also simply wipe them off in the sink after eating. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the part where they connect seems very thin and flimsy. We haven't had breaks yet, but we feel like we have to be extra careful with them.
