Review on Black BAOFENG UV-5R Dual Band Two-Way Radio by Vinay Ahuja ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Bought for skiing in the mountains and mountain hiking. To her took a battery pack for rechargeable batteries / AA batteries. Eneloop batteries. Tangent waterproof. Antenna NA771. All together it cost about 100 bucks. ==== Since the native battery is lithium (it is afraid of the cold), I decided to take a battery pack and Eneloop to it. In this configuration, the radio works great while in a backpack at -10 -15 degrees. Haven't used it colder yet. The tangent is comfortable (some kind of non-name), with a rotary lock. Can be attached to a backpack strap or clothing in any orientation. The quality of communication, compared with the original, is 4+. Power 4.5 watts. Many more expensive counterparts have less power. Can listen to two different waves at once. Radio. At first I thought, what the hell did the Chinese put the radio in there ? But the radio on long winter evenings in the cabin / tent really came in handy. Torch. Well, a flashlight will never be superfluous. Not Lupine, but you can always highlight.

Pros
  • Price. Quality at this price. Power. Lots of accessories. Built-in radio, flashlight. Aluminum chassis. Durable plastic. The size. Charging glass for charging both the walkie-talkie assembly and the removed battery.
Cons
  • If you find fault, then the plastic case has inaccuracies in fitting between the parts.
