I really wanted to like this mirror. I was so lucky to have a lighted magnifying mirror that hangs on the wall giving me more counter space. I also liked the idea that the windscreen can be removed to easily change the batteries. But here's the problem. The pivoting mechanism that locks the glass is not very reliable. It unlocks too easily. On the first order, the glass fell out and smashed on the floor. The same thing just happened with the replacement that was sent. I'm not a stubborn person and I like to take care of my things. So be very careful when ordering this mirror. Especially when cleaning. Be careful not to accidentally twist it. Unfortunately I have a broken mirror again. I've tried the same thing twice, hoping the first one might be defective. But I will have to look for another style and brand.
