Every device I get seems to have its own connector. I recently received a Samsung Galaxy S21, yes, with a different connector. A short cable was included, but no charger. The charger and longer cable cost about the same as a basic charger so I bought the kit and so far so good. The connection is secure; In fact, sometimes it is a bit difficult to disconnect the cable from the phone. Charges very quickly; The phone didn't let me die completely, but it did kill me from 30% to 100% in under an hour.
