I ordered this coat and also the North Face for a trip I took to Philadelphia last week where the temp is now below zero. . This one came fast, the north face didn't come before I left. the coat is very thin and light, but very warm due to the thermal lining, padding and sleeve cuff inserts. I walked the dog and was outside for 20-30 minutes in 10 degrees and below and I was warm in a long sleeve t-shirt and a wool sweater underneath. I found the coat to be water resistant as freezing rain and snow run off and not penetrate the coat. I found the sizing perfect for a medium with room, there is an internal waistband if you want an hourglass look, I'm 5ft 7" and 140lbs, if you're not careful the zipper gets stuck sometimes. I would recommend this coat and am very happy with it and for the price amazon prime delivered the coat very quickly.
