This mascara really lifts and lengthens. I usually use 2 coats. The first layer is for shaping and lifting, while the second is for completing the ends so they stand out. Once applied, my lashes stay that way until I wash off the mascara. Even though this mascara works like this, my lashes stay soft and it washes off very easily. I only have one complaint. It seems that this mascara dries very quickly. They say you should change your mascara every 3 months and I've found myself replacing it every 6 weeks or so. I still love it so much I'm willing to do it. I highly recommend it.
