Nothing like the hype

There's nothing worse than looking forward to greatness and getting mediocrity. I was so impressed with the description of these headphones that I was itching to get them. I have a pair of good headphones (both on-ear and on-ear) and I find that good headphones are worth the money. They were just average quality headphones with fancy advertising. What makes these headphones so mediocre is the sound - simple and clear. There are hundreds of these in-ear neck headphones on the market and this is the middle of the pack by any measure. Of course they have surround sound, but it's weak. With my headphones, the right side is always louder than the left, which is annoying. Even if you blow up the tone, it won't be exciting. Sounds like normal headphones. I've tried TV shows, my XBOX and my laptop... Nothing special sounds. My stock car radio sounds just as good. I literally spent an hour fiddling with all the audio settings (bass, treble, treble) and nothing improved the sound quality. Too bad. When it comes to noise cancellation, you suddenly realize the difference between active and passive noise cancellation technologies. Really good noise-cancelling headphones have a button that activates active noise-cancelling technology. They don't have this feature, which can be a deciding factor for some buyers. They're just really tight-fitting headphones; the usual household hum (television, dishwasher, children's chatter) is only really dampened, not completely eliminated. You can read it in the description, but it comes with multiple sizes of ear tips so anyone can use them. The earbuds don't fall into your ear, which annoys me a lot. The headphones themselves are very light; However, they create suction in the ear, which makes it feel like you're swimming underwater. The neckband takes a little getting used to, but I like it now, especially for turning the volume up or down. It paired with all of my Bluetooth devices with ease. Easy charging with the included USB cable. I will mainly be using them as wireless headphones for regular TV, not for movies or music. Sorry I can't recommend these headphones as surround sound or noise canceling headphones. Just for everyday use or for the gym.
