Review on 🪑 Lotusville Vintage PU Leather Counter Height Stools by Roundhill Furniture: Antique Brown, Set of 2 by Cathy Blount

I received the stool quickly; When I opened the box, it was immediately apparent that the stools had been repackaged. The gear was in a sandwich bag; At the bottom of the box were pieces of red cellophane tape that I believe was used to seal the original equipment bags. The box itself was obviously re-taped, which was evident from the amount of tape on it. All the screws were there, although it was a mess, but there was no Allen key to assemble the stool. Luckily I had it, so I was able to pick it up. There is a very obvious scratch on one of the chairs (on the seat) and another area in the corner where the vinyl looks like it has been crushed and damaged. I didn't notice this when assembling it, only after I finished it. If I didn't need them for the gala dinner I would send them back. I will say that the stools are quite comfortable. The quality of vinyl (faux leather) is very durable and does not feel like leather. I've seen some that are really hard to tell if they're leather or faux leather. Not in this case. The stools are overpriced for what they are in my opinion and I have to live with scratches and dents (literally). Disappointed overall but due to lack of time and not wanting to bother with disassembling and repackaging and most likely giving the same item to another unsuspecting buyer expecting better quality I will stay. for their hard-earned money. Update: Initially I thought I could live with the scratches and other marks (above), after about 2 weeks of sitting on stools, I noticed that the heads of the bolts holding the legs together under the seat were starting to buckle through the seat to press! Very visible and only a matter of time before they wear out completely. So I decided to return. I shipped back to Amazon via UPS as instructed and only received a fraction of my original retail price back! You have to call support. Always a fun endeavor. And find out what's going on. Well really, REALLY NOT HAPPY!
