Real all-purpose bag

For years I was reluctant to buy this bag because of the price and over the years I've trawled through various briefcases, holdalls, messengers, backpacks and shoulder bags. I never found "it". I finally bit the bullet, dropped a few bucks and bought this snazzy Swedish hipster bag that I thought was an ad. Well, that's about as close to "it" as I've come to bag perfection. My Requirements: Zipped top Professional look Versatile strap options Weekend purse Work bag All purpose Roomy without weight or bulkiness Organization without too many compartments to get organized Key tongue Side water/umbrella pockets And intuitive and easy to carry There's nothing bad about this bag. Where organization and pockets are lacking, it makes up for in size, versatility and durability. The extended lanyard is perfect for getting from bag to door or bike without having to untie it! An outside pocket offers space for cell phone and essentials; a hidden internal pocket is good for a tablet (or checkbooks and a bank bag in my case) and a small internal pocket for tissues and lip balm. The rest is one big (dark) void, so I recommend small packing cubes or purse pencil pouches to stay organized. on the bus or by bike (hooray, the backpack variant!). The straps are thin so it can get heavy, but I plan to put a small shoulder pad over one of the straps for extra comfort. He collects lint as others have mentioned. However, I didn't really find the issue with the length of the strap. I'm 5ft 2in and I don't find them too long. Can I say they're worth it for almost Benjamin? Of course. They almost live up to the hype.
