The belt is not what I expected. This is in fact a bicycle tube converted into a belt; that's all. It stretches a little, but in moderation. It is very durable and the seams are well finished. However, the belt is not as stiff as some leather belts, so if you are used to such belts it will be difficult to buckle at first as it sags. The locking mechanism on the buckle (the part that goes through the small slots) is impossible to fasten without paying attention, so don't even try. But it's a very decent belt and I would buy it again. I love the idea that no animal died so my pants could be held up and by buying these products from Alchemy Goods you also support fair trade and recycling.
