Misplaced screw holes, screws missing and tools not included

This should be a simple and easy assembly, but it definitely isn't! WANSE Listing Modern Bedside Table/Sofa Side Table 2 in 1 3-Layer Side Table shows a block with three shelves, all three shelves are on the same level, things are placed on it, and the specified things will not fall. The unit I received is in two pieces that nest inside each other and the top shelf is a sloping desk that you can't put anything on. The instructions are simple: screw side legs to the shelves, screw legs to the legs, done. None of the parts are labeled and there are two different sets of legs and shelves. Legs and shelves are easy to tell apart as they have screw holes in different places. The tricky thing is that the legs have a front and back alignment, which is pretty subtle, but you have to get it right. Then the screw holes for the bottom plate are misspaced and it is almost impossible to insert screws. You could just drill new holes, but the holes have metal dowels in them for you to put screws in, and moving them will only destroy the shelves. Additional note: The instructions make it clear not just in one, but in two places that the seller is not liable for damage caused by incorrect assembly or misuse. I finally got the bottom screws in and tightened everything for the bottom and it's a nice short set of two shelves. I started with the second part where you place two tough looking plastic pieces with big handles on top of them on a metal rod and then screw the bottom of the plastic pieces to the bottom of the last shelf. The plastic pieces didn't want to slide and I had to pry them up with a tool to get enough room for them to actually slide on the bar. The screws were hard to get on the shelf and they gnawed at the end of the screwdriver I used [I had to provide my Phillips head] until I got a screwdriver with a drill to finish screwing them. Screw a metal rod to the legs and then screw a second rod to the legs to complete the desk shelf. There's a thick piece of rubbery silicone that needs to be attached to the shelf that looks like it's meant to hold the pencil in place, but all I can see is a large piece that you place on a flat shelf . There is no way to level this shelf even if you fully extend the handle underneath, so it's useless as a shelf and too short to use as a tilting table. Putting it on two other shelves will make it higher, but then you have two other shelves preventing you from using it. The instructions are translated into English and appear vaguely menacing as they show irresponsibility. All I know is that I have sore fingers, a scratched hand, a broken screwdriver, a set of two shelves that I expected three of, and a set that narrowly avoided going in the bin throw. I would not recommend this level of disappointment to anyone. They get a star because they end up with two shelves that look good.
