It has many nice features, fun borders, no borders at all, or it can look like a Polaroid. However, since it is Bluetooth, you will need to download the app. , I was hoping for something that can be used without the app. Something you can just plug in and print from any phone, I don't need an app on my phone. The app was causing problems with my son's phone and it took us a while to get it working. For some reason it didn't print with the cartridge that was in the printer. He says he was good for 8 shots but he just talked about putting a new cartridge in, we tried taking it out and putting it back in but no luck. It would have been terrible if I hadn't bought extra pint cartridges as it was a Christmas present. Overall I think he's going to love it and be happy with it and go back to college with it.
