I rarely write reviews but I do my best to let you know that this item saved our trip! I was very close to buying this item as it isn't cheap, but I followed my mother's instinct and bought it before our fall hike. We live in New York and as we were going to camp in October I knew the temperature would drop very low at night. Well, as far as I thought, our tent's heater blew up just as we were about to sleep. The husband suggested that we set up camp immediately and drive an hour and a half home. Our 11 month old baby was very tired at this point so I reached into my bag for this sleeping bag and it saved us. The temperature dropped to 48 degrees that night but our little one was very toasty in a short sleeve romper, a fleece sleeping bag, a large fleece sleeping bag and this sleeping bag on top (also with a hat). He slept through the night like a bug. If you're a camping family like us, this is a MUST! I bought the medium one since our guy weighs about 20 pounds (for comparison, it's about the same size as a large Halo sleeping bag). I will buy a larger version of this sleep headboard when he grows up! Five stars
