For the price I wasn't expecting much from this camera but my teenage girl has just started her senior year I thought it would be nice to give her one give camera to take pictures. I check the specs and the 36.0 megapixel 1080p vlogging camera with 16x digital zoom would be better than their phone camera in my opinion. Was I disappointed! I can't focus the picture for the rest of my life. Image stabilization is also completely missing, so that the image becomes blurred even with the slightest jerking. I switched to resolution photo mode and changed the pixels to 36MP, but the images are still blurry. It's also very slow, like cameras years ago, slower than my phone. The options are also very difficult to figure out, despite reading the manual. Supposedly there's anti-chic and face detection and smile capture features that I can't find in the mode settings. For the video option, the audio capture is decent, but the image is still blurry. The LED screen is untouchable. The format option is simple in mode, then select the SD card image and click format. The advantage of this item is that it comes with 2 batteries and a 32GB memory card. It looks modern but the functionality isn't modern at all, more of a kid's toy than a functional camera. All in all I decided to gift this camera to my 4 year old rather than my teenager as it is more suited as a toy camera.
