If you, like many of you, have a stack of bedding, pillows and clothes that you don't want to part with entirely, or just need some seasonal storage, these vacuum storage bags are the perfect way to save space in your closet. ! It's really amazing to see your big, furry items shrink at the touch of a button, which in my case was a vacuum cleaner switch. For speed and efficiency I would definitely recommend using a vacuum to evacuate the air, although the included pump does the job well enough but takes a lot more time and effort. It takes a few seconds for a vacuum instead of minutes for a hand pump, especially with large bags, but both give the same results. Packing bags with your belongings can be a challenge, but with a good range of bag sizes you can handle pretty much anything. I've tried to pack mine as completely as possible, but you need to leave enough room to zip up. The snap closure helps close the zip mechanism but be aware that they fall off easily and care should be taken to ensure the zip is fully closed. Each bag has a clip closure, so losing a pair probably isn't a big deal. The bags themselves are surprisingly strong and the double zip system has worked well for me so far without the bags leaking or re-inflating after vacuuming. I will update my review should this change. The suction ports are also designed to allow air to be sucked in, but are automatically closed allowing the cover to be changed without air being sucked back. The connection flanges also allow the connection of any standard vacuum hose and provide a sufficient seal to effectively vacuum bags. The level of suction pressure depends on the performance of your vacuum cleaner. The hand pump has a threaded connector so it can be securely attached for manual cleaning. Overall, they're great for saving space and storing your furry, bulky items. Highly recommended!
