Goes on very smoothly and has a slight airbrush effect but just don't use too much or it will look caked on. I find this color to be a little darker than other Physician's Formula translucent pressed powders. Maybe it's just the chemical makeup of the ingredients that makes it a little darker. I mix it with a translucent corrective powder to get the color just right (and also not *too* airbrushed if I want a more natural look. Friends and even my mother-in-law have complimented the skin on my face when I wear it (which is rare) to hear in my life, although my skin isn't that bad).
