Review on Motorcraft RT-1169 RT1169 Thermostat: Optimal Engine Temperature Control at 190F and 88C by Erick Bowers
Works, opens 190° in place.
I give 3 stars because my water temp is still not elevated. I flushed my system and installed that, closed everything but my truck only goes to 185 etc. Now I need to disassemble it and check if it works at all. I will update this review when I have results. ***Update*** Mine opens straight to 190°, I have an aluminum 2-wire radiator that prevents my truck from going over 195° and only when it's warm outside. On cooler days I run between 182° and 188°. I find it a bit cold.
