I ordered this for my 23 months for Christmas when it became a bargain during Cyber Week. I was surprised when the box arrived at how small it was, but I should have read the description for the dimensions. A few weeks later I opened the box to see the actual size of each piece (that would be a great addition to the description or pictures). I didn't measure accurately. The large pieces are about 10 inches high and probably just over two feet long. My daughter is taller than they are in length. So I'm not sure if this would be suitable for a baby. Probably great for new crawling/climbing babies. The pieces are also much softer than the typical mats you'll find at a toddler fitness class. Under my weight (135), the foam rubber sags straight down. An adult cannot use them with their children. I think they will come back and I will look for a new "big gift" for Christmas.
