It is black on one side and brown on the other, but can only be worn with the brown side. It's absolutely irreversible. The description is misleading. It's very frustrating when sellers try to cheat. I usually read reviews first but I was in a hurry, ordering a belt for my grandson and it was needed in a few days, I didn't read any of the reviews. Let's not make that mistake again!😡
