I am very picky about my gaming accessories. When my old Wii remotes failed due to battery acid leaks, the hunt began. No store within a 100 mile radius had them, and third party brands that had a 50-75% chance of working at half price weren't worth it to me. The extra $20 was for peace of mind. They connected easily and I tested them while playing Mario Party 8. If anyone knows anything about this game, it involves all sorts of moves and button presses. They worked great! Contrary to what most reviews say, mine were very clean when they arrived. Maybe I'm lucky? In any case, I am very happy to be able to play my console again! The straps weren't listed in the description either. So don't wait for her. Just had to throw this away for those complaining about the straps. Read what you're getting before you raise your expectations
