During the day, my girlfriend and I wanted to take photos for her birthday in our small town. She was very excited about the camera but ended up being very disappointed with how the photos kept coming out. We thought the first two overexposed shots were an accident, but it wasn't. She looked through a whole package of films and not a single picture was right. We tried shooting in full sun, in shady places and at night, literally in the dark, sitting under a tree and the images came out overexposed. Wasted money on this camera and a whole pack of film, which isn't cheap. I advise against buying this camera with automatic exposure. Nothing is automatic there. So if you are looking for an outdoor camera, give the instax mini 9 a try as you can switch indoor/outdoor modes.
