To me, this set looks better on the photo than in real life. At $30, the price is probably reasonable, but it looked cheap to me. And when it comes down to it, you don't want something cheap that pretends to be better for a whiskey set. However, my main reason for the "it's okay" rating is that the decanter had a few large visible air bubbles in the glass, indicating poor craftsmanship/workmanship. Carafe. This was a mystery as there were literally no shavings in the decanter itself. But after opening the glass stopper, which is placed in the separately packaged carafe, the chip came out. Very strange as this should not have happened at the time of delivery as the connector is packaged separately. That must have happened before - and thus further evidence of poor quality control. Also, there is a small sticker that says "Made in China" on each part that needs to be removed.
