Review on Leick Furniture 10000 DS Cabinet Desert Furniture for Accent Furniture by Chantell Marie

I ordered this cabinet based on the dimensions that would fit in my studio apartment and because of the beautiful golden wood with the clear finish that is shown in the main photos ( and some customer references). However, what I received has a gray tint with a distressed finish that I can't stand and that, to me, partially defeats the purpose of a solid wood construction. The lower part is pressed wood, but the rest of the piece appears to be solid. It's solid, fairly easy to assemble with good instructions, came well packaged and the glass is nicely bevelled. But I just can't stand aged finishes, and the shade of gray doesn't match the built-in countertop it'll be sitting next to. I am contacting the company for a solution and will update my review as soon as I know more.
