Looks like the original Apple Pencil top cap. The tips look and feel just as good as the original Apple Pencil. I write a lot on my iPad and use a textured screen protector. It wears out the tips quickly, but it's worth it because you get that kinesthetic feeling of actually writing on paper (which is important for your brain)!
