This bag is perfect! This is a smaller version so it's not too heavy or bulky. I bought it for business trips and train rides in New York. It has enough space for a laptop, a notepad, a manila binder or two, and handy pockets. I like the integrated cable for power and the only external side pocket for a phone. The first day I used it, my phone battery died in the middle of an Uber ride from the airport. I just pulled the cable from my side pocket, plugged in the power and I'm on my way again. I also like the convertible option that I can wear as a backpack for trips and then tuck the straps into the outer back panel to make it more like a briefcase when I go to a client's office. When I first received it, the zipper on the top two corners was difficult to close. A week later they were working fine - a smooth zipper. Despite a laptop and some papers, a sealed coffee mug and a 24-ounce thermos still fit inside. For a coffee lover, this is as important as a laptop. The tether strap comes in very handy when you need to get away from a table or seat quickly while travelling. Another benefit is that the bag is actually waterproof. I never threw it in the lake, but the rain never got into my laptop or papers. Also, for small business people, I'm 5ft 2in and the straps adjust to my body in the shortest position. The bag stays on the back and does not hit the buttocks. I've never seen a laptop backpack that fits like this. Very convenient also for people with disabilities. I've been using it 5 days a week for 11 months. no signs of use. Looks like new, no rips or scuffs, no tears on lining or pockets, zips all work great. It has held its shape, no sagging or slipping. i love this bag I don't understand any of the negative reviews. Never had a problem with smell or quality. It holds just enough for the essentials. Someone has complained that this is not a very good bag. Well, this is NOT a shoulder bag. Fits (Then buy the larger version. Ugh.) Most of the negative reviews are from people who don't read the product description. before the purchase. I can't count the number of times people have stopped me and asked where they can buy this bag. I keep forwarding this link to Revain. People who travel a lot and are afraid of pickpocketing found this bag particularly good. It's a bit pricey, but for me it's worth every penny. If it eventually wears out, I'll buy another one.
