Review on 🐱 Ultimate Vertical Playground: Cat Craft Three Tier Floor-to-Ceiling Cat Tree by Casey Murphy

If you have a cat that loves to scratch, this product is NOT for you.

I've found that my youngest cat likes to sit on tall things - my bed, a couch that we put on one side the day before the new one was delivered, bookshelves, etc My mothers in law had a big wooden cat tower that we inherited with her cat and I broke a couple of fingers terribly on it because there was no space in our house so I made it before this cat appeared. I saw this tower and thought it would be a great solution, the trail looked small. Received and posted on December 8th (first photo). Lucky loved it. It's not very strong if you use a plastic stabilizer, but it's strong enough. However, happiness is a scratch. In two weeks he ripped the thing to pieces. The second picture was taken on January 5th. Less than 30 days later he looks awful, he's twisted and I'm glad COVID doesn't allow me to let people in my house. Yes my cat still loves it but I've ripped the carpet all over the floor from it, it's starting to shred the cardboard tube that the tower is made of and I'm looking for a replacement. If you have a cat that just loves to climb, you're probably fine. As for me, I'm furious that I spent so much money on something that didn't even last a month. I would like to send it back, but "crappy quality" is not a good reason to send it back. Instead, I'm sharing my photos so you don't make the same mistake.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
