Convenient velcro - no need to constantly tie shoelaces. The child wears them himself. The insole is difficult to measure because it cannot be removed. I ordered the size up and it popped up, but there is no space in front of the fingers. So buy at least half a size bigger. Enough for this summer - kids grow fast.
