Last year Santa's Paws brought a bedroom cube and a penthouse bed and they were so popular I had to buy another set. Assembly was pretty easy, but we REALLY used a rubber mallet to make sure everything was secure. It took a while for the cats to get used to this, as did the cats, but I really enjoy grabbing the pillows, tossing them in the washer/dryer and just wiping the ABS plastic - clean. The old sisal scratching post used to be very popular but our kittens are older now and mostly want a nice window seat to sleep in and this is perfect. My mother in law just bought some for her cats and her friend is thinking about doing the same. Price wise it's not much different from higher end sisal/carpet cat furniture but I hope it lasts longer and the nice clean square shape and subtle gray color doesn't scream 'cat person' as soon as you walk into the house.
