I had a horrible sunburn on my lips 4 years ago, tried everything to help, my lips were terribly cracked, dry, flaky (particularly on a spot on the lower lip sees it looked like a scar, actually sunburned blistering and bleeding, real injury. Been to a dermatologist, used medicated lip ointments and prescription balms for a while. They just stopped doing their job. Didn't help anymore. Tried vitamin E Oil, coconut oil, sugar scrubs, so many other oils and remedies I discovered Burt's Bees products and became a fan Many lip balms help but this coconut and pear which I use religiously before bed and regularly throughout the day , I am almost healed of my scar on my lip.All peelings, flaking, lesions, previous negat ive problems are in the past.
