Running is new to me with an irregular heartbeat so I want to check my heart rate regularly while running. The Scosche Monitor meets my needs. It will appear if you bring it up on your iPhone while it is running. It's pretty easy. I also like the graph showing when you burned the most calories and your fastest speed; that helps with learning. I didn't read the instructions at first, so my first run wasn't recorded on the dashboard. After reading the instructions, it was pretty easy to sign up and write down future actions. My only advice is to subscribe to scosche and have it shared with other fitness apps instead of having multiple apps open at once. I train with Runkeeper and it recorded 2 workouts when I was only doing one. Scosche has GPS so route, distance and calories are accurately recorded. I also share with MyFitnessPal. I prefer to wear it on my arm than on my chest so it suits my preferences. My husband has to take it off the charger but I can do that if it's not available. I would recommend it to others.
