Nice try, bad execution.

Pros: Easy setup, memory card support (up to 256GB), pan and tilt. iOS/Android supported. Free cloud storage membership for 1 year. Both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections. Viewing angle 93 inches. Up to 10m in night vision mode. Two-Way Audio. Set up a schedule for the camera to record when it's not at home. The camera is very quiet when panning and tilting. There is also a baby monitor mode. Real camera 1920 x 1080p at 30 fps. Cons: Only works on 2.4GHz. Free cloud for first year, then up to $35/month per camera to record and/or upload to cloud. No cloud playback with free membership, only ads. It is not possible to view the camera in real time via the PC. /Mac. There is no way to set up an automatic side-to-side pan. The free annual membership gives you just 12 seconds of recording time with a 7 minute cooldown between recordings. can't see what's going on. No recovery period or cap, starting at $5/month for 7 days or recording. If you plan to connect it via an Ethernet cable, it's best to have it handy as the cable that the camera comes with is about 2 feet long. I think they expect you to properly plug it in next to a router or mostly use wifi. Signal strength when connected to Wi-Fi is deplorable at best. I was about 30 feet from the router and the camera connection was down to every last bar, making coverage uneven. To be honest I wish this camera was good, but if you look at all the fine print on it, it honestly isn't that valuable. Motion detection is ok, zones cannot be set. Night vision worked well, saw better. The picture quality is HD but the preview looks terrible and you can only download your recording which is on a memory card if you have a subscription. Better avoid this camera and stick with other brands like TP-Link, Ring, Arlo, Nest, Logitech, etc.

Pros
  • SEEING IN THE DARK IS SIMPLE, RELIABLE, SAFE β€” night vision up to 33 feet in total darkness. WiFi products depend on your network skills. This camera is only compatible with 2.4GHz networks and will not work on 5GHz networks. Includes a free 1-year SmartHome Cloud subscription (after that, affordable plans are available starting at $1.99/month). MicroSD card, NVR, 3rd party recording and AI people detection are always free and not cloud based.
Cons
  • Some issues
