Review on ProCase IPad 10 5 2019 2017 Tablet Accessories by Logan Broadnax

I had a lid that closed itself and kept the iPad secure on my old Ipad. I couldn't find the same one resized for my new iPad. More, of course, so I had to buy a new case. The previous manufacturer doesn't make it for my new iPad. This case is the only one I could find that would possibly protect my iPad from falling onto my porcelain floor. (I'm not in favor of paying $80 for a cover.) The reviews don't address this particular issue, but I definitely won't be checking! So the lid stays in place while it flies to the ground? Can't find an answer. On the good side, I like being able to use it in the kitchen for cooking recipes.
