I really liked this duvet. I used it as my main accommodation on hot and humid nights in my last air-conditioned house. If you're familiar with the seersucker, it's basically the same idea but on the scale of a quilt. The fabric is "crumpled" so only 25% actually makes contact with your skin. This has increased its insulating properties beyond what one would expect for its weight, allowing it to stretch further in the cold than most lightweight summer quilts. At the same time, it does not accumulate heat and does not stick tightly to the skin, so it keeps you cool and dry even in hot, humid and sweaty summer weather. I love this style of weaving. and buy seersucker shirts whenever I can, though they're hard to come by. Combine the above with the comfort of real cotton and you have a duvet suitable for all but the coldest of homes in the dead of winter.
