I have replaced all of the wall panels and switches in my home with Leviton Decora brands. I really like the clean, modern look of these wall panels. I've installed a few single and dual gang platters with no problem, but once you get down to 3 or 4 it becomes quite a challenge. In my opinion, the installation design is just bad. The idea is that you should loosen the top and bottom screws of each switch, then take the inner plate (not visible) and slide it over the top screws of each switch. It's easy with one or two switches, but when you have 3 or 4 it's difficult to line them all up correctly and put a lid on each one so it doesn't pop out of the previous one you secured. But the top was light compared to the bottom. Once you've attached the top piece, you'll need to press the bottom piece against each bottom screw. Sounds easy but when you try to work with 3 or 4 switches it's a nightmare. I ended up having to remove the screws completely, then slide the inner plate over the switch and screw the screw back in place. I think that's a simpler approach, but still a problem. The other problem is aligning each switch in depth. You might have one that sticks out a little further than the other, or vice versa, requiring you to fiddle with the switches and move them as you go. It probably took me about 30 minutes to install all 3 or 4 group plates I had, but I took my time and made sure everything was done right in the end and all the switches were aligned. When it's in place, it looks amazing! I just hope I never have to replace any of the switches again in the future.
