Last review: less than 6 months later the end of the cable got hot and I unplugged it. I tried using it to power my iPad and iPhone, but neither device recognized it as a charger. The green "charged" indicator was not lit. I am very disappointed with this charging cable. While it's great to be 4ft+ than regular charging cables, this cable got hot at the end where you plug the device. I left it on the adapter and maybe it's not normal. I don't know but the ending was very hot. I disabled it and it still works. Maybe you need to completely disconnect the cable for safety?
