This cute backpack feels great. I'm 5.11 inches and I was happy with how it fit me. Everything was fine with the bladder. I don't like where the water bladder hose attaches. It might be different if someone is smaller, but once I unclipped the straps where I needed them, the clip at the top of my shoulder was way out of reach. Besides, he's weak. I had to constantly re-glue the hose. Space for attached poles was ok. If you are traveling alone, you will need to take your backpack off and on. And you should just let them dangle when the backpack is really full and bulging. If your pack is mostly flat, you can thread the tips through a small strap at the bottom of the pack.
