I like the convenience of small radios. i hate headphones I don't want to yell at Alexa. I want something that I can easily move from place to place, that I can put on a table or whatever. I like single purpose gadgets that do what they say without adding a bunch of features unrelated to their primary purpose. It's on my desk and I can access it without having to listen to it online or anything. It's a sleek and pleasing little radio and the sound is excellent for something of this size. It uses 2 AA batteries that last a long time. It's small enough to crawl under your pillow at night and listen to AM coast to coast without disturbing the neighbors. *However* I found a bug. The radio uses two dials - one to select stations, the other to adjust the volume. After a few months of use, both began to fail. I have to turn them in exactly the right direction or the volume squeaks, scratches or disappears, and the tuner wheel can't find strong stations either. In contrast, my C. Crane portable pocket radio doesn't sound as good, but it never fluctuates in volume or setting. I would not buy these radios again. Something is wrong with the design.
