I bought this adapter to use with my Dell XPS 13 9360 (2017 model I believe). So far everything has been great with a few exceptions. Good Features: - HDMI Displayport works great - Conventional USB 3.1 ports work great with multiple devices - Audio out works great; I haven't tried Microphone Neutral: - I haven't tried microSD/SD ports - USB-C port for charging works fine. However, sometimes I still get a warning from Windows or BIOS (at boot) that I'm connected to a low-power charger. This only happens 20% of the time and I haven't tried multiple chargers to isolate the problem. Despite this message, my laptop always charges well, so I don't know what the problem is. - Seems a bit pricey, but then again I haven't been able to find a viable, trustworthy alternative that offers the "embedded look" for my particular laptop. So I can't fault the product for reflecting the reality of supply and demand. Less good: - The plastic audio element meant for "extra stability" doesn't fit the audio jack on my XPS 13 9360. The product description (which I was able to find) didn't make it clear which model years this feature was for. The adapter still seems pretty stable without being able to use it; However, I am concerned that it may loosen over time. - I would like this adapter to come in the form of a small pouch or some kind of soft "case". I'm worried about scratching or damaging it if I drop my laptop bag, so I usually wrap it in something to be safe. Something from the manufacturer specifically for this purpose would be better. Overall I highly recommend this product.
