Perfect fit. We still have a medium sized Land End jacket hanging in the closet that we won't be wearing until next year when hopefully it fits. The jacket looks even better in person than in the photo. This is by far our best all-round jacket to wear over layered winter clothing when the outside temperatures soar to teenage temps. The outer fabric is a little wrinkled, but the softest fleece inside. This is now our essential everyday jacket for a 6 year old. Velcro wrist straps are a big plus for threading your hands when wearing multiple layers. Wis I had one my size.
