I really like this mouse. It's very quiet, which is what I wanted, and works well when paired with the Arteck wireless keyboard that I bought at the same time. I didn't have any connection problems. I also like that it is rechargeable. The information supplied states that the charge lasts for months. I've only had it a few weeks so far - and haven't used it in a few weeks while I've been out of town - so can't speak about it. However, I didn't need to charge it when I first got it and I used it for a few weeks and it didn't die. I charged it fully after that when I had a little time and I'm still on the same charge. A couple of things I had to get used to are the position of the scroll function and its wake up: slightly higher than any other mouse I've used and I have to stretch my finger a bit. (I know - tough life, right?) It's a bit of a learning curve, but I'm used to it now. With other wireless mice I've had, a simple movement of the mouse will wake it up. However, to do this, you need to click the button. So it takes a little getting used to, but I actually like it better. This allows me to move the mouse without waking it up and unnecessarily draining the battery.
