Proven polarization, robust design definitely helps smaller people whose car visor is too high to block them. Flip it down and it's a great second pair of glasses. Doesn't glare, good for bright headlights at night! Worth the extra money. To update. 4 months after purchase, the hinges broke, the parts fell apart, I can't put it back together. Wrote to company about 1 year warranty, no reply.
