I can confirm that this extender (32ft) works for the Vive headset using the following setup: PC -> This product, active USB extender -> Original Vive USB cable - > Vive Link Box -> Original Vive Headset Cable. *Note: It is important to have an active USB extender connected to the PC to get power, it will not work if the original USB extender is connected to the PC and running the extension from it. I haven't had any latency issues using this extension (using the original Vive USB cable, which is 35 feet long). The only issue I had, not the fault of the product itself, was that the female end of the extender was wider than expected and would not fit through the 1 1/4" PVC tubing (1" ID) that the I ran wall to run a cable to another room. The female extension is only slightly wider than 1 inch.
