I got hit by some tree branches last year and while the drone didn't crash, the gimbal wasn't the same. I bought a cable last year, installed it and it didn't work. I decided to try again. I finally found a good YouTube video that explains how a ribbon cable bends and folds (it's tricky). Although this didn't fix the problem right away, after a night of raging sleep, I manually aligned the gimbal, turned it back on and it seems to be working. I only took a short flight to test it but I'm sure it solved my problems.
