I bought these for my two girls ages 8 and 11. Buying shorts seems to be getting harder and harder for young girls as their style has seemed to get shorter and shorter. They are now shorter than I am comfortable for my girls to wear. I bought these because other shorts reviews complained about the thin material that shows through the underwear. It is great! They are long enough and the patterns are still a lot of fun. My girls love wearing them and the little pocket on the side is an added bonus! I highly recommend these shorts. My daughters love them and say they are very comfortable
